antique hand stitched quilt

Antique 1800s irish chain quilt. All hand pieced and hand bound. This one of a kind piece is documented with a note by who it was made by. So rare to find a quilt with the original note to know it’s little history. There are a few stains, and one area that looks to be fading in the fabric. I also noticed some wear to the brown fabrics that has deteriorated. I have not attempt to clean this quilt. There is one wear (about an inch) that you can only see on the back. It doesn’t go all the way through. Bindings all intact. This is such a beautiful quilt and in great condition for being over 200 years old. It measures 80” x 93”.

Please keep in mind, all quilts are antiques/vintage/preowned. There maybe areas of flaws that I may have missed. I can take more pictures upon request.
