Now, with the addition of Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard (included with the scanner) and a new Vista supported version of the ABBYY FineReader 3.0, the ScanSnap S510 provides users compatibility with the latest software enhancements. One-button scanning to searchable PDF processes are supported, and users can even scan directly to Microsoft applications (such as Word and Excel). There's also a new multifunction quick menu feature for protecting and sharing documents with ease. In addition to the ability to scan business cards, the S510 can scan color pages in duplex at 18 pages per minute. Compatible with Windows 2000 Pro and later operating systems (including Vista), the scanner features a speedy USB 2.0 interface. For added convenience, its small footprint requires less space than a letter size piece of paper
